Happi Giving Tuesday

At Happi Foodi, we’re on a mission to give back. We believe everyone should have access to delicious food. That’s why it’s so important for us to raise awareness about food insecurity. Through the years, we’ve supported food desert areas through chef-led cooking classes, local healthy corner store initiatives and more. Fighting food insecurity isn’t just something we do - it’s who we are.

Today, we’re excited to share that in honor of Giving Tuesday,  Happi Foodi will be partnering with LPGA golfer Danielle Kang to donate $100,000 worth of meals over the next 12 months to food banks across the United States. Danielle will donate the meals to local food banks of her choosing. The partnership is a natural fit as helping the hungry is something that Danielle, an ambassador for UNICEF, is deeply passionate about.

The first donation will benefit Three Square Food Bank, a food bank in Southern Nevada, close to where Danielle resides, that’s been serving the residents of Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda and Clark Counties since 2007 and distributed more than 41 million meals in 2019.

Throughout this year, Happi Foodi has also worked to help fight food insecurity as individuals, families and communities are feeling the economic impact of a world shut down by the pandemic. During the peak of COVID-19, we donated 300,000 meals to the New York City area. We’ve also raised nearly $10,000 toward the Foodie Fund, which allows us to donate food and beverages to organizations working hard to fight hunger and take care of those most in need.
